Altro Group Joins the Prestigious Best Firms List for 2023

Altro Group is an anti-slip flooring specialist company. Its products are applicable on all floors, including those that have had or may need wood floor repairs. It has been named one of the Top 100 Best Companies to Work For by the Sunday Times. Even more astonishingly, Altro Group is the only manufacturing firm in the United Kingdom to be named on the list. This also marks the sixth time the company, based out of Letchworth and making Autoglym car care products and wall cladding, has made the list. Altro Group employs a maximum of four hundred and fifty-five people, all of whom were quizzed about their employer by the paper regarding matters such as working conditions, training and development opportunities, the company’s profile in the local community, and overall job satisfaction.

“We are thrilled that the contribution of all our employees across the Group has been recognized for the sixth year running,” says Altro Group MD Richard Kahn. “We were surprised to find ourselves the only manufacturing company in the listing this year. Competing in a world market is challenging for UK manufacturers. Still, we believe that our culture, brand values, and how everyone works to shape the company are central to maintaining our success.”

Every employee of Altro Group owns a stake in the company, with eighty percent of those surveyed saying they are proud to work for the Group.
