Transform Your Space: How Wooden Flooring Creates the Right Texture

The Transformative Impact of Wooden Flooring on Interior Texture
Wooden flooring has been singled out as one of the critical factors in making a living room feel comfortable and cozy. Dina Arslanouk is the Assistant Manager at IDdesign,. She says that wooden flooring and choosing the right colors for the décor are vital to creating the right atmosphere in a live room environment.
“Wooden flooring, textured wallpapers, and designed gypsum ceilings are great texture boosters,” she says. “Texture brings a sense of depth, interest, and contrast to a living room and is the life of our interiors. It is an often overlooked element in interior design, even though it can add a powerful yet subtle dimension to any home.” Arslanouk adds that the more detailed the texture and the darker the color, particularly when wood paneling in wooden flooring, the more warmth the décor appears to give off.
Arslanouk believes that the look of a living room must be balanced; however, between that warmer look and the more relaxed feel that can come from resin flooring or polished marble, neither an all-warm nor all-cool look is particularly desirable. “It’s best to have a combination of both and stick to a specific style or color,” she advises, adding that both hue and texture are essential in setting the overall visual feel of a living room or any other house area. Wooden flooring is also practical, being so durable that it will be many years before it needs any form of wood floor restoration.
