What was the job?

We journeyed to Leytonstone to carry out repairs on damaged wood floors and stairs.

Challenges

There was significant damage to the floors and some boards needed replacing or refitting. We also had to work around the hearth and fixtures within the rooms. Sanding several areas means the job runs the risk of being time-consuming.

What we did 

Before any sanding would begin, we needed to refit some floorboards and replace the most damaged ones. The stairs needed to be cleared of debris and we had to be sure they were safe to work and stand on. We could then begin sanding all the work areas. After sanding, we lacquered the wood and repainted the steps.

The results

Thanks to our work, the property is a lot more inviting and safer to be in. It is cleaner and can be easily maintained. The stairs are less of a hazard and can be used without worry.
