What was the job?

Reading is a town in the county of Berkshire. A home in the area needed repair work on its floors due to significant aesthetic damage.

Challenges

The floor was in a severe state of disrepair and there was a tough layer to get through before we would even be sanding wood. We had to clear to floor beforehand as bits and pieces had been left there.

What we did

After clearing the floor of loose debris, we began sanding through the first rough layer. We had to be extra careful to keep the finish even as some patches were relatively clear. Lacquer was applied after the floor was buffed and even.

The results

Signs of damage are now gone and the floor has been restored to its original shine and quality.
