The floors of a home in the area were damaged and needed repair.

We had to replace some floorboards before sanding work could begin. Loose floorboards compromise the quality of our work and mean services would be required again sooner.

What we did
After relaying floorboards, we were able to begin the three stage sanding process. We used a cosmetic gap fill using a resin and slivers mix.
With the surface clear after buffing and vacuuming, we applied four layers of clear lacquer.

After sanding, the wood is lighter and compliments the white walls.
Without loose floorboards, the surface is safer to walk on. The gap fill has hidden spaces between boards and makes the floor appear new.
