Floor Sanding Blogs
The wood floor of the popular Ralph Lauren store on New Bond Street in Mayfair had become faded and worn because of the thousands of shoppers who had passed through.
Because Ralph Lauren is such a prestigious brand, the maintenance manager needed the shop floor to be returned to a fantastic finish. This required resanding, staining and sealing to make the floor look as good as new.
There was also a tight schedule to complete the job due to the busy nature of the premises.
We resanded the damaged floors, then stained them with a Morrell’s stain, and finished the job by sealing with four coats of high traffic satin wood finish.
The resanding and treatment of the floors in the Ralph Lauren Bond Street store was a complete success, rejuvenating them and returning the high quality finish that Ralph Lauren demands.
“The crew completing the re-sanding, colouring & sealing of the floors at 1 New Bond St, did fantastic work to a high standard, completed areas as per the schedule set out, and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone asking.
“I will also look to them for any future work that is required at the Ralph Lauren stores that I am responsible to maintain.”
