What was the job?

The floors in a Beckenham property needed sanding and restoring.

They had been worn down and became uneven over time.

Challenges

Some floorboards were very worn and cracked.

We had to operate sanding machines in some narrow areas.

How the floor looked before we started work

What we did

We sanded the floors evenly, being careful working in the narrow spaces.

Filling gaps with resin prevented dust falling between the cracks between floorboards.

Maintenance work was required on some damaged boards.

During the floor restoration

The results

The floors were successfully sanded, improving looks and quality.

The floorboards were repaired and the surface smoothed out. Applying lacquer gives a longer life to the floor.
