What was the job?
The pine wood floors in a Sydenham home needed sanding and staining. They had become worn and damaged and were in a bit of a sorry state so needed sanding back and refinishing.
Challenges
Pine wood is softer than some alternatives and requires careful treatment. We also had to work in awkward spaces such as a narrow and around a staircase.

What we did
We sanded the floors using our dust-free machine that ensures dust does not spread throughout the property. Gaps between the floorboards were filled with resin, aesthetically enhancing the floor and preventing debris falling through.
Before we applied four coats of clear lacquer and stained the wood, the floor was buffed as a final check that the surface was smooth.

With the stain and lacquer, the floors now have a quality look, without the visible signs of wear and tear that they had before.
