Floor Sanding Blogs
This was a domestic job where we were required to sand the floors and staircase in a period house in St Albans.
The floors had become damaged and degraded by the natural wear and tear of family life.Area- 3 floors, 9 rooms, plus corridors and staircase
The floors were successfully sanded, stained and polished, as well as work completed on the staircase.
Due to the age of the house, aftercare was needed and provided at the customer’s request. This was provided at no extra cost.
“Excellent aftercare. Steve and his team sanded, stained and polished all the floorboards in our house (3 floors, 9 rooms plus all corridors and stairs). They managed to get the stain colour of the floorboards to the exact colour we wanted after considerable consulting with us. The job was done in very good time, the team were polite and easy to talk to and there were no long or frequent tea breaks!
After several months the filling in between the floorboards started to crack and come out (we live in an old period house) so I called the company and they said they would send someone to fix the floors at no extra expense to ourselves. The whole house was done and again the team worked well without taking any long breaks.
We are pleased with the outcome, especially with the aftercare which many companies are reluctant to do when no payment is involved. I have no hesitation in recommending the Mr Sander® and would definitely use them again.”
