What was the job?
This was a domestic job where we were required to sand the floors and staircase in a period house in St Albans.
The floors had become damaged and degraded by the natural wear and tear of family life.

Sanding stairs is not as simple as sanding a floor. There is less surface area and different machines and techniques are required. Also because the clients were living in the property it was important to get the job done as cleanly and quickly as possible.How the floor looked before we started work
What we did
We sanded, stained and polished the floors, restoring them to a high quality. This also required gap filling on damaged floor boards. The staircase was also sanded and stained, which took an extra level of expertise and our team’s extensive experience.During the floor restoration
The results
The floors were successfully sanded, stained and polished, as well as work completed on the staircase.
Due to the age of the house, aftercare was needed and provided at the customer’s request. This was provided at no extra cost.
