Floor Sanding Blogs
This was quite a big job for a residential property and the smaller rooms had obstructions.
The bottom step of the staircase was curved. The shape and overhang of the step meant we had to be careful with machines that could have caused damage if not used properly.
The floor was not excessively damaged. This meant we only needed to use a two stage sanding process.
After sanding with dust free machines, we buffed and vacuumed the floor to remove any excess and applied four coats of heavy duty lacquer.
The floors now look like new again and add an inviting feel to the home.
Adding lacquer means the floors will remain in great condition for years to come.
We provide virtually dust-free sanding with our continuous belt machinery with mobile extraction units, giving you a safer environment for your family.
This organic finish not only adds beauty to your home but also has exceptional water-repellent characteristics, making it easier to clean and maintain.
This natural floor finish offers the softest and most mellow appearance – and leaves your floor able to breath.
Using soft buffing machines (and hand-polishing where required) will bring a wonderful sheen to your newly-finished floor.
We offer a full assessment of your wooden floors to determine what repairs are needed to provide the perfect working surface for the later stages of sanding, staining and sealing.
We offer a comprehensive restoration process designed to address floors that are improperly fitted or damaged over time through wear and tear.
