The English National Ballet School, London, is a paid for dance school providing dancers aged 16-19 with world class training.
The building’s parquet flooring needed routine maintenance work to remove scratches and change the stain to a lighter tone.
There were some borders between the floors and walls which were not to be sanded, so we had to be extra careful when avoiding them.
As the building is used to teach, we had to work at a time when we knew there would be no students needing to be in our work space.
The floors had been well-maintained so did not require us to replace any blocks. We sanded away the stain before buffing away any excess. This smooth and clear surface then meant we were free to apply layers of lacquer.
The client is happier with the lighter shade to the wood. With the same level of care as previously shown, it will be years before our services are required again.
Sanded wood floors are smoother and, consequently, safer. This is beneficial in an area with heavy foot traffic.
We provide virtually dust-free sanding with our continuous belt machinery with mobile extraction units, giving you a safer environment for your family.
This organic finish not only adds beauty to your home but also has exceptional water-repellent characteristics, making it easier to clean and maintain.
This natural floor finish offers the softest and most mellow appearance – and leaves your floor able to breath.
Using soft buffing machines (and hand-polishing where required) will bring a wonderful sheen to your newly-finished floor.
We offer a full assessment of your wooden floors to determine what repairs are needed to provide the perfect working surface for the later stages of sanding, staining and sealing.
We offer a comprehensive restoration process designed to address floors that are improperly fitted or damaged over time through wear and tear.
