How do I clean my wooden floor properly day-to-day?
Soft-brush hoover (or sweep), then a damp — not wet — microfibre mop with a pH-neutral wood-safe cleaner like Bona or Woca. Skip anything with ammonia, vinegar or soap-based products; they all knacker the finish over time.
Can I use a steam mop on my floors?
No. We see this go wrong in W6 every month. Steam drives moisture down through the joints, swells the timber and causes cupping, edge-lifting and finish failure. Bin the steam mop.
How often should I have a buff and recoat done?
