What was the job?
We were called to Wimbledon to repair and sand wood floors in a property.
Challenges
A lot of sanding work was required as the floors were grimy and uneven.
We had to ensure all floorboards were secure before we began sanding so as to avoid damaging our equipment.
Areas:
Kitchen- 1.6 m2 (Pine floorboards)
Lounge- 13.9 m2
Entrance hall- 1.5 m2

How the floor looked before we started work
What we did
We had to carry out repairs before sanding the floors. This involved securing and moving some boards.
When the three stage process was complete, we finished with Rustins diamond hard gloss.
During the floor restoration
The results
The wood looks a lot better and, with some thanks to the gloss, will have an extended lifespan. It will be easier to care for now the surface is smooth and level.
